Classic Attic and The
Linen Closet will display and sell your antiques, fine furnishings,
art work, custom draperies and pillows for you. It’s also a place
for you to browse for that special piece you need for your own
home décor.
How
do I consign?
Call (704) 521-3750 to make an appointment and make a list to bring with your
items. Classic Attic will price the items based on our knowledge of the marketplace
and what we know sells well in our store. Any information you have; i.e. original
purchased price, cost, age, history, etc. will be helpful and will be taken
into consideration.
Classic Attic receives items on weekdays
BY APPOINTMENT. On larger furniture please bring or send photos
in advance for our review. We welcome e-mails at [email protected].
Make sure you have made a list! If needed, we can help arrange
for deliveries of large items at a reasonable cost.
What will I get for my “treasures”?
Classic Attic has a variable percentage program that is based on the length
of time the item remains in the shop. For the first 45 days, the consignor
receives 60% of the sale price; after that time, the consignor receives 50%.
(Items $25 or less will be consigned at 50% the entire time.)
Items removed by the consignor prior
to 60 days will be subject to an early return fee. Consignments
unsold at the end of 3 months will be displayed for one more
30-day period at a 20% reduction in price. After 4 months, Classic
Attic will dispose of all items unless they are retrieved within
5 days of expiration. (Please track your expiration dates as
we will not make reminder calls.)
When will I get my money?
Checks for sold merchandise are mailed on the 10th day of the month following
the sale date. You will receive an inventory list of what items have sold
and for how much. |
